Cooper est en plein sevrage. Son humeur s'en ressent fortement. Il s'en prend à une policière spécialisée dans les enfants. Il est persuadé que le petit garçon à qui il vient de parler lui a dit la vérité.
Josie et Lydia s'occupent d'un témoin dans un procès ; Naomi Chester est la seule à pouvoir faire condamner un prévenu car le policier qui l'a arrêté ne lui a pas lu ses droits avant. Lorsqu'elles découvrent Naomi, elles comprennent qu'elles ont un gros problème. Habillée comme une professionnelle, alcoolique, sa crédibilité prend du plomb dans l'aile.
Sammy prend la photo du principal suspect dans la mort de Nate et s'occupe de sa veuve aussi bien qu'il le peut.
